April 2017

April 1st Tony and I went walking in the sunshine.

I came home to find someone (obviously Buddy, haha) had played a prank on me!!

The 2nd was general conference and we got waffle dough from Waffle Luv the day before, like the year before.

Tony and I were treated to this beautiful sight on our walk that afternoon!

April 4th we went to this movie:

On the 5th Christian was taking pictures of his doggie.

On the 6th mom and dad took us and Joy's kids to Baby Animal Days in Wellsville. We got to see and pet so many adorable animals!

Afterward, we stopped at Gossner cheese factory,

then Maddox for lunch!

On April 8th we went to Braegger's for their Easter hunt and dinner, also celebrating Lana's birthday.

(It's blurry, but had to add this one because all my babies look so cute!!)

So funny that I got Zach teasing Christian by swiping his cash while walking by!

chatting with Lex

And here's when we got back home. I'm not sure what Christian has on his head!

April 9th we were at Peterson's for their Easter hunt and dinner.

April 14th Bud decided it was a fun game to roll the giant foam bean bag up onto the couch, sit atop it, and roll off!

On the 15th he did the Smith's candy scramble,

then came home where we all dyed/decorated eggs. Here are mine:

Faith's:

and Bud's:

That afternoon, we went out for Tony's birthday dinner to Tucanos,

and had fun at the planetarium.

That evening, we went to Beauty and the Beast at the drive-in. A long and fun day!

The 16th was Easter. Kids woke to baskets and hidden eggs.

Cute kids at church.

That afternoon we went on a bike ride to the park with a Skittle in the basket!

I thought this was a funny text exchange between Tony and I:

We celebrated Tony's birthday with some ice cream on the 20th.

Here's a snuggly Dusty cat on the 22nd.

Christian needed a picture of him with his mom for a primary thing. We took some pics on the 23rd and here is a crazy outtake!

On April 29th I got to go with a few coworkers to my first drag show!!! Called Viva la Diva, the show was amazing and SOOOO much fun!

March 2017

Here is silly Skittles on March 3rd playing with her squeaky ball on the floor next to my desk. So noisy while I'm trying to work!

But whatever made her happy that day was okay because it was her birthday! Christian made her this cute felt bone toy:

I didn't make it into any other photos that month, so here is a selfie I took on the 4th.

On March 11th we enjoyed the beautiful weather at the park,

and then went to eat at the Chinese buffet.

We had some more octopus,

and the kids ate Jello with straws like they used to when they were little :D

Mom and dad met up with some of dad's relatives. He posted on Facebook, "March 13th, we spent a few hours with cousins from the Davis side of the family and Uncle George Crane. We also Skyped with Aunt Marva and cousin JoLynne in Las Vegas. We were at Sue Bahm's home in Kaysville (close to Boondock's)."

Of course we celebrated Pi day on the 14th and here is a selection of our pies that day:
marionberry pie from Smith's, pot pies for dinner, then low-carb for me a crustless quiche and tiny sugar free cheesecake in a ramekin.

And one dessert pie wasn't enough, so we made chiffon cheesecake, as well!

The evening of the 16th, per tradition, Christian set out an elaborate Leprechaun trap.

The Leprechaun did not get trapped, and did also not do very many tricky hijinks, but luckily Christian found this when he came home from school on the 17th:

We had a super fun dinner! In addition to corned beef, cabbage, and roasted veggies, we had sugar free lime cream cheese jello salad, green & gold fruit kabobs (with grapes, kiwi and pinapple), and a rainbow veggie tray.

March 18th we went to see Beauty and the Beast live action movie at the theater. Faith did her nails special for the occasion.

To our delight, Belle was there at Centerville Legacy theater!

On the 25th we took a trip to Smith & Edwards where the kids got their gummy candies.

The 29th was Buddy's class program. It had a Utah theme.

He was even selected to do a square dance.

On March 30th there was a JetBlue Reservations employee get together that someone set up at Olive Garden. It was fun to put a real face to lots of people I only previously knew from their picture on Facebook.

It was fun! Two people even brought cute treats for everyone.
