On December 4th, I posted this to Facebook:
A friend recently posted a beautiful dinner table laid out perfectly and mentioned how no one’s life is perfect, but our Insta-stalkers (my word, not hers 
) might think so because we all just post the highlights. So to counteract that, just a tiny bit, at a time of year that can be difficult emotionally and full of the pressures of perceived perfection, may I present you with some real life? Here is a picture of my sink overflowing with dishes onto my entire countertop! And in the last few days I’ve also been given the gifts of jury duty and digital credit card fraud. Not big deals, but I thought that some might appreciate this share.
On the 6th I had these Bunco Babes over and I was especially excited to have Jenn & Darcy sub for us!
December 8th we dropped Skittles off with grandma Braegger and Tammy and flew to Long Beach for our Disney vacation!
Was intrigued with this wine cork/beer bottle cap nativity and tree at the place we picked up our rental car.

Cauldron cake. Treats at universal studios are not as delicious as treats at Disneyland! But at least they were cute!
December 11th, back to Disneyland.
We tried a few treats from California Adventure and they were amazing! One was this hot cocoa marshmallow macaron,
another was this black forest yule log.
My phone was fine in my back pocket for three days of theme parks, but all the walking must’ve given me buns of steel because my butt + Space Mountain = my first ever cracked phone screen :(

December 12th we spent at Huntington Beach.
Not quite the same effect as the Caribbean white sand “snowman” the previous December!
On the 15th was the Christmas Dance.
On December 17th I posted: Well it’s not a bowling alley, but someone just left this major award on our doorstep!
On the 20th I did the craft for our last elementary class Christmas party.

On Christmas Eve Bud helped me with some baking,
we had our family party at my mom and dad's,
and took a family picture at home.
