July 2018

Had fun at the Braegger family BBQ on July 4th!

And at home where we set off a few fireworks.

The only pictures I get of Dusty is when he is relaxing in weird places! Here he is stealing the heating pad I keep my feet on while I work on the 5th. (In the summer my feet freeze even worse than they do in winter because of the dang air conditioning!)

July 7th we took the kids to the planetarium.

Then next week Christian went to scout camp. Here he is on the 11th NOT enjoying himself. He has no plans to ever return!

July 13th we were in Park City and my mom treated us to a meal at Zupa's.

Mom & some grandkids who walked with grandpa on the 14th,

That day we rode the cabriolet up to the Canyons

where we saw this unique piece of art.

And later came down to go swimming!

It's very tiresome :D

On the 16th, Eric and I joined the walkers.

And the kids had to get in one last swim.

While at the outlets, Christian found the shoes of his dreams: Air Jordans!

On the 18th the kids went with Tammy to SeaQuest where they paid to sit with and feed the birds :)

On July 17th Ashley VanCamp hosted book club as a pool party and it was so fun!

July 19th I spotted this cool long-necked bird in a field when I was out walking.

On the 22nd we went to see Ant-Man, but also had to get a funny picture with the Jurassic World display :D

On the 24th Joy hosted a Pioneer Day party and I just had to make some crazy themed treats. I present to you--buffalo chips! (no-bake cookies)

Teenagers always look so thrilled at family parties:

On the 27th I took the kids and MeriJo to a family friendly drag show. There were some awesome queens there!

And on July 29th we enjoyed some Mission Impossible 6.

June 2018

On June 3rd Tony and I took the kids to the zoo. It had been a long time since we'd been as a family, even though the kids usually go every year with Tammy.

So fun!

On the 8th I started training for my new position with JetBlue--Crew Support! I now take calls from frontline agents and airport employees who need help with the computer systems, as well as escalated calls from angry customers asking for "a supervisor."

Here's my cuties on the 9th

and the gauntlet of Thanos Christian made out of watermelon :D

Also, how pretty our house looks with our flag buntings and red & blue led multi color lights with our newly planted front area.

June 11th I took the kids to Timpanogos cave since they'd been begging to go back. This time we left Tony at work since his fear of heights prevented him from reaching the cave last time.

We loved it again and had a great hike up and down.

On the 12th I snapped this pic of the home-grown eggs we've been enjoying, purchased from a neighbor with chickens. The photo doesn't do them justice--in person they are much brighter, especially the two green shades.

Here's the group of awesome women who showed up in Barnes Park to workout at 6:30 am on the 15th. Since our trainers only hold class during the school year and isn't there for these bonus summer meetings, we have lovingly dubbed it "fake Riot."

Later that day, Bud decided to make a cake...and then smash his own face into it. (???LOL)

June 16th we met Tammy & Lana at the theater to see Incredibles 2.

On our way out I thought it was a fun time for a sibling photo shoot. Christian was super cooperative :P

On the 23rd we had some fun finding crap at the dollar store!

Photo from the 25th, but Bud carved this watermelon on the 22nd for "Summer ween," a made up holiday from the cartoon series "Gravity Falls" which no longer has new episodes, but the kids still love.

Gearing up for Independence Day, Bud decided to make some patriotic pancakes on June 26th including flags, fireworks and stars.

The next day he was in a more macabre mood and made a jello brain!

Faith was at girls' camp that week and I got these cute pics of our Young Women from June 28th.
