Second half of April 2011

Christian loves having his picture taken and doing weird poses. This time he wanted to make scary faces. He definitely succeeded--they totally freak me out!

On the 20th Tony turned the big 4-0!!! The kids made a banner and cute cards for their dad and gave him his favorite candies.

We played board games and then had chocolate lush for dessert. I used the leftover plates from our Twilight Eclipse party, which I'm sure Tony appreciated.

On the 23rd we went to Kaysville's egg hunt. This time I took Buddy and Tony took Faith to their age-corresponding fields.

Next, the kids built birdhouses at Lowe's.

When we got home, we painted our Easter eggs. I wonder who Buddy gets the "weird faces for photos" thing from?

Easter morning the kids woke up at 6:30 to search out their goodies.

The biggest hits were the kites, outfits for their ZhuZhu Puppies, Reece's Pieces in a carrot shaped bag, and Cry Baby egg gum with sour powder in the middle, and chocolate bunnies.

Dusty just watched all the craziness...

while Crumpet did some egg hunting of her own :)

Christian was lucky enough to get two Easter outfits this year, one from my mom and one from Tammy, so we changed him and took pictures at both houses. The pics start out sweet,

but soon turn silly!

My mom and dad did their Easter hunt with big, cellophane wrapped baskets and jelly beans hidden all over.

You can tell how super-thrilled Faith is about the Mazin' Hamster she received!

Next, we visited Braeggers' and Buddy wore his purple shirt and tie that he'd asked for.

On the 30th we stopped by KFC for lunch,

then it was off to Lagoon!

Buddy is almost too big for the baby boats :(  I took him around while Faith and Tony rode Wicked (the crazy roller coaster).

They loved that this goose nested right by the line to the Tidal Wave ride.

I didn't want to get wet because it was so cold, so I skipped the Odyssea this time. After the ride started we noticed that the squirting water was turned off.

Buddy was disappointed that he couldn't soak his dad :)
