On April 7th, the Bloxham's hosted an amazing neighborhood Easter egg hunt. They even invited the Easter Bunny!
The kids had a blast hunting for candy filled plastic eggs and then we ate a delicious potluck brunch.
The hostess, Jodi, took this darling pic with her awesome camera:
Next up was Home Depot for the kids' project, then over to Fresh Market for the candy scramble. It was crazy, but the kids loved it! Their Easter Bunny was on break when we went over to his area, but I got this cute photo of just the kids.
Back at home, we set about coloring our eggs. (There is a huge stack of egg coloring kits in this picture because two years ago I happened upon some at WalMart which were 90% off which made th
em 10¢. Needless to say, I stocked up.)
The next morning the kids woke up at 5:45, but were kind enough to wait until 6 to wake us. They found their baskets, eggs, and lots of jelly beans.
I had to work at the center in Salt Lake, but on my break I saw this sweet text picture from Tony showing that he managed to get the kids ready and to church looking Easter perfect. Way to go daddy!
I forgot to take my camera to the parents' that afternoon, but my dad took pics for me.
My mom went all out for her Easter hunt and spoiled the grandkids, as usual. She even spoiled us big kids with a hunt for plastic eggs containing money! I ended up with three eggs and $15 and Tony only found one egg containing a quarter, hehe.
On April 15th we celebrated Tony's birthday at my mom & dad's. He got money, a new white church shirt, and his favorite dessert, chocolate lush.
On the 21st it was hot enough for the kids to play in the water.
On the 23rd I treated the kids to soup and frozen yogurt,
before visiting our baby.
On the 25th I got a beautiful desk that I found on KSL classifieds. It is solid cherry and boy, did Tony and his nephew Tyler have a rough time getting it in the house! I started working at home the week before, and this was a very welcome addition.
The morning of the 27th I went to Faith's ballroom dance assembly. Her recital was that evening and I had to miss it because of work, so I was very glad to see this!
My sweet dad took this picture of the kids after the recital. The darling gerbera daisies are from aunt Tammy.
On the 28th was another Skittley visit. We couldn't wait to bring her home!
